Rise and Fall

This piece was for my figure drawing course, and the assignment was to draw something fantastical. I chose to draw an angel in this limbo falling/rising pose. I do regret adding the bloody wounds, and I do wish I had used other colors. Angel imagery has always fascinated me and how, for instance, different religions depict these beings.
