Social Media Surveillance

This piece was from one of my drawing courses, and we were tasked with creating a political/social commentary work. I chose to create a piece that shows the duality of being on social media: on one hand, it's fun and exciting being able to connect with various communities, but on the other hand, these companies spy on you; they know your likes and dislikes, who you follow and block, your search history, your political leaning, etc. I feel behind all these companies' colorful icons and playful promotions, they're hiding something dark and sinister from all of us.
